Lime decoction comes from the dried flowers and leaves of the lime tree, which is also known as tilia, linden and basswood. This decoction is an excellent sedative of the nervous system and it can even be consumed by newborn babies. It also fights insomnia, migraines, coughing and high blood pressure. It is diuretic and expectorant. It reduces fever and it alleviates the symptoms of cold. To make a decoction drop a spoonful of the herb in a cup of boiling water. Leave for about 10 minutes, strain and drink.
