Paprika comes from a combination of peppers – green, red, sweet and hot. Its taste varies depending on the kind of peppers which it comes from. It may be sweet and mild or hot and spicy. It is classified into different categories (ASTA), according to its color, taste, flavor and purity. When paprika has a bright color, it belongs to the category of the highest ASTA and it is more expensive. Paprika can be added to food to give flavor and color. Sprinkle it on fried or boiled eggs. Add it to rice, potatoes, chicken, turkey, fish, prawns and feta cheese.
